Rebecca, BS, CNC, IBCLC, RLC is a passionate advocate for women’s health and is dedicated to promoting wellness within her family and to her clients. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Certified Nutritional Consultant and Postpartum Doula, Rebecca is pleased to be a practicing part of the pre- and postnatal holistic living community.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Nutrition Science, Rebecca decided to take her love of health and fitness to the next level. She trained and taught as a Feminine Movement Instructor at S Factor Los Angeles and became formally trained in both classical and contemporary Pilates through Pilates Sports Center in Encino, CA.  Passionate about her work, she then continued instructing clients privately and at other movement studios throughout the Los Angeles area for many years.

In 2004 Rebecca became a mom for the first time following the birth of her first son. Although she experienced a relatively easy transition into motherhood, that was certainly not the case four years later following the birth of her triplets. Noticing a serious gap in quality and consistent evidence-based education and support during the prenatal and postpartum period Rebecca decided to shift her focus and fully immerse herself in the world of preconception, pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Rebecca is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Lactation Consultant (RLC) via the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) and a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor (CLEC) through the University of California, San Diego. She is also formally trained as a Postpartum Doula (DONA), holds a certificate in both Pregnancy Pilates (Pilates Sports Center) and Prenatal Yoga (Ma Yoga®), and is currently working on her certification as a Maternity and Parenting Holistic Health Practitioner from the International Maternity and Parenting Institute™ (IMPI). As a mother who has birthed and breastfeed five children, she understands how amazing this period can be with the right kind of support. Her goal is to educate, inspire, empower, and support families (all with some fun mixed in) as they transition into parenthood.

Based out of Buffalo, NY and founder of Start With Sleep, Soda has spent the last 12 years educating and supporting physician offices, community organizations and hospitals to address the risks associated with undiagnosed medical sleep disorders and represented a center that provided diagnostic testing for them.

What she found in her time in healthcare is that sleep challenges are most often tied to behavioral, lifestyle choices that when continued over a period of time can manifest themselves into more serious medical conditions.

Furthermore, that diagnostic testing leaves a void for those that are sleep deprived but not positive for sleep disordered breathing issues. Patients are often left feeling hopeless without a solution to their sleep problems and without a resource to find a customized plan that works for their individual needs.

She saw the need to directly provide education to the community regarding strategies that embrace both the science and art of sleep for a holistic solution to their sleep challenges. Beyond her direct work in clinical sleep health education, she attend yearly medical sleep conferences (35+  CEU’s)  and has completed sleep certification’s in maternity + child sleep, as well as in integrative adult sleep health through the The International Maternity and Parenting Institute™ (IMPI).

It’s by being above all a mother of three girls and a stepmom, living the adventure of the stepfamily that Marisol was inspired to lead her company and fulfill her role as a mother. It was after a major depression in 2012 that she decided to swap her job as a chemistry teacher for NLP coaching.

It is through her passion for the human being, for her scientific background, from her studies in biochemistry and her training in NLP coaching that she has developed in recent years, an expertise to help women achieve their goals!

She is also trained in business management, Brain Gym, marketing, social networking and working with several coaches both personal and professional. It is with all these achievements that she has the opportunity to mix her passion for teaching and NLP, thanks to the coaching program she created.
